Throughout my career, I have been motivated by a desire to help clients—especially women—make informed and confident decisions about their money. One of our most important responsibilities at Elevage Partners is to create meaning around money and ensure clients understand the financial choices they make at every stage of their life journey. I believe that understanding the “why” behind financial decisions is just as important as knowing the “how,” and that we best serve our clients when their “why” is thoughtfully planned for.
Before becoming President of Elevage Partners in 2021, I served in a variety of leadership roles with mutual fund and insurance companies across the country. I hold a Series 65 license and a Certified Master Business Coach™ credential, and I earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Washington and a master’s degree in professional coaching from Middlesex University in London. I am currently deep in the research phase of a doctoral program exploring the true wishes and needs of women, specifically widows, as consumers of financial services. My hope is that this work–combining academics and professional practice–will engage our industry in providing more thoughtful, intelligent, and compassionate service to women throughout their financial journey and regardless of marital status.
Financial planning should be meaningful and inclusive. I believe in creating space for clients to explore their values and build plans that reflect their true aspirations.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy entertaining, reading, travel, gardening, solving puzzles, and cheering on the Golden State Warriors. After living in Napa, California for 22 years, my husband Jeff (CEO of Elevage Partners) and I now enjoy life on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada in Reno, Nevada with our two Bernese Mountain Dogs.
